How did the main character feel during the book? Give evidences of this. Titus was a proud but humble person. He took pride in completing something and made sure it was completed correctly, but he was not to proud to take advice and use it.
What did the title have to do with the book? Oh, everything. I do not think the author could have picked a better title.
Tell in your own words how the setting of the story made it more interesting. I am not a person that enjoys reading/watching anything dealing with war. I do not like the thought (even if fiction) where someone is killed. With this book, I admit that it was more than just a war story. The book almost reads like a true memoir or biography than historical fiction.
Did this book remind you of anything that has happened to you? Personally, no it did not. Never having been in war I do not know anything about the experience. As for some of the backstabbing, or people out to one up others then yes, I have been there.
Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the author.
